Garden Trials and Trade 2020 cancelled

The 3rd edition of Garden Trials and Trade has been cancelled. In light of the current situation surrounding the Coronavirus, the organisation has been forced to conclude that it would be irresponsible to allow the event to take place.



Garden Trials and Trade is the main event where the latest plant varieties in the area of woody plants and perennials are exhibited. This will take place for the third time in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude on 9, 10 and 11 June 2020.

During this event, breeders and specialised licensing bureaus will exhibit the latest innovations in the assortment of woody plants and perennials. This offers every international branch professional the unique opportunity to admire these novelties in full bloom in the middle of the garden season.

COVID-19 Corona virus
Following the general guidelines regarding to the COVID-19 Corona virus in the Netherlands, we have decided to wait until April 6th before taking a final decision on whether to cancel Garden Trials and Trade or go ahead. The situation is monitored on a daily basis and any amendment to this decision will be communicated immediately.

Garden Trials and Trade 2020 is Taking the Next Step
The 3rd edition of Garden Trials and Trade 2020 will be held from 8 to 10 June at a new location in Noorwegenlaan next to GROEN-Direkt. This move is the result of an initiative by Greenport Business Center, a founder of Garden Trials and Trade, which asked GROEN-Direkt to host the upcoming edition. Proba BV will continue as the organisational team.

Garden Trials and Trade second edition well received
The second edition of Garden Trials and Trade was well received. Exhibitors were very satisfied with the quality of the visitors. On Tuesday and Thursday, the number of visitors fell short of the totals from the previous year. The range of products exhibited in the stands, the novelty showcase and the compact and well-arranged exhibition floor all enhanced the visitor experience.
